Is this further proof that YA does not check into things thoroughly?

Question

As most of yall know I had two questions be reported and removed within 24 hours thnaks to stupid trolsl that apparently have a grudge against me. When I got the violtaion notice I replied to YA asking why my questions were delted. The following is their reply to me and my orginal email to them....

Of course YAs doesn't check into anything thoroughly... I'm surprised you got a reply at all. YAs has a suggestion area and there's about 10 really good ideas on there that get repeated a few times a day and it's very obvious that YAs does not read those suggestions at all. It's kinda like how it took a year of us bothering them before they finally made a horses category under pets. The only way they notice us is if there's hundreds of us bothering them telling them the same thing every day.



I guess you might be one of the lucky ones though... about 6 months ago my friend asked a question on the horse racing category... she asked for our first names and how old we are because there's only a few of us who are always on there and we're pretty friendly so she was just curious... within the hour, the question was deleted along with her YAs account and her e-mail! I'd be SO upset!

I've noticed that mostly questions asked by the most knowledgeable people here getting deleted, I'm just wondering when it is my time to have that problem, i personally think this is the work of some mean little peaces of human trash that have nothing better to do then practice jealousy that way, instead of reading the answers to your question and educate themselves (which is probably too complicated for them), they rather sit some where in their dungeons and think about giving hard times to others.

I think we should simply ignore those little bastards, the more attention they get the more they will stay active.

And to answer your question, I personally think too that all the reports that come up are never seen by a real person, otherwise this person would be able to react like one...

LMAO I'm sorry for laughing but what else can you do. You know what is even more messed up, I had a question deleted the other day in the dog section EVEN after I picked a best answer and resolved it. Explain that one?!?! One of the girls on dogs, her account was deleted for no reason. She had someone following her around and I guess reporting everything she could. I don't take it to heart if I get thumbed downs or reported. I speak from expeirence....... how can that be wrong

Apparently if you keep nagging you will eventually get in touch with a human but the chances are that you will get bored before the robot answering device does.

It's getting so silly - I think some people have nothing better to do with their time than thumbs down and reporting people because they don't like the question.

Maybe we should just join MR's mailing list and create our own little rash of red spots !

Well...I have a sneaky suspicion that the reporting process automatically deletes a q or a as soon as it's reported, and they don't even review it until the asker or answerer pursues the issue to a couple of levels. A real person probably doesn't see it until you've contested the violation several times.

That looks like a computer generated or template response... you should email them again and again and again... eventually a "real" person will get your email... Dont bother writing a new email each time.. just use the same one and email it sporadically... thats what i did... I really think its a bit of joke really... all the thumbs down and reporting that seems to be going on... with no actual reasoning... well hope you get some resolutions...

This place is going to the dogs. So many people are getting reported and questions deleted, self included. I noticed it peaked after I asked the question about someone cheating, that's when all my answers and yours got deleted. Makes you wonder...............



Boxer - that happened to me. Picked Starlight as BA, everything resolved and then 24 hours later, question got deleted.
