My friends have told me to wear beige trousers, green tweed jacket, waistcoat, shirt and tie. I'm just not sure what colour the shirt, tie and waistcoat should be to compliment my mahogany coloured bay horse. Is their a set colour code?

I like reds and blues towards purple on bays.

If you want to go smart, go with a white shirt and green waistcoat, black tie. Looks very smart.

are you show in hand western or English? In Western, the only great things are to be sure you have white gloves and white hat, with white tie. Otherwise, depends on your area of the country how you show in hand English

Go to Hobby Horse .com they have a color wheel that shows what colors to wear with what color of horses then they offer clothes that are the color, of course you don't always have to pick there clothes but it will give you a good idea of what colors look best, and its always updated so you don't have last season's picks. Hope this helps!

depends on if you want to get noticed. or if you are a beginner or not. beginners tend to not want to stand out unless you know you have everything down.
