Confirmation of a horse Im thinking about buying?

I'm thinking about buying this horse. He is a 6 year old ottb. What do you think of his confirmation? Potential lower level dressage horse.

He looks all okay.... i would say offer 2K..... have the other 1k split in $100 notes and keep adding to the 2k until you booth reach a price that you do agree on..



Bring a vet or trainer to look over the horse and see what they think..... Try riding the horse too and see hw he behaves under saddle......

*Conformation



-Hatchet neck

-Slight ewe neck

-Short neck

-Long and upright pasterns in front

-Flat feet all round

-Slightly over at the knee, but might be because he's been stood up with his front end pushed underneath him

-I also reckon he's slightly downhill - he's being stood up on a slight incline



Has a pretty face. Would do well if you work it in an outline and never let him come out of the outline unless you jump him (to allow him to use his head and neck for balance) so he builds some topline and sorts that neck out a bit.

I would possibly buy him if he was confirmed as an Anglican or Episcopalian. Catholics have way too much baggage. Especially since he can walk trot and canter after only a year off the track.

I got MY confirmation when I was 12 yrs old at the catholic church...



His confORMation is adequate. What you need is a trainer. I wouldn't pay more than $3k for him
