9 Year Old Paint or 16 Year Old QH?

I would go for the paint. Even though "she is mostly a trail horse" according to that. The paint is "flashy" enough to be in shows, and you could do a trail class, which with some training, she would excel at. Also, 9 is a better age. The QH is 16 and had a tiny little girl riding him so that probably means he is a little slower.

They both sound suitable for what you want, but the Paint is closer to the age you want. I'd go with the Paint if I were you.
