I have a horse that will always nod his head up and down when I try to put the bit in. I have checked to make sure his teeth are ok and that know sores are in his mouth. I have tried everything but I don't know what to do Help

Before trying to put the bridle on again, work on getting him to give to poll pressure. In just a Halter and lead rope stand beside your horses head, reach up and apply pressure to his poll with your hand. if he doesnt lower his head, pull down slightly on the lead rope. as soon as he lowers his head stop pulling his head down, stop applying pressure to his poll, give him a rub , tell him he's a good boy and repeat.
When you put the bridle on put your reins over his head, Then stand so you are facing the same way as your horse and your shoulder is at his throat latch. Hold the cheek pieces of the bridle in your right hand, put your hand arm/hand under the horses chin . At the same time place this hand on his nose and apply slight pressure with your fingers to try and keep his head down. Put the bit in with your other hand while maintaining pressure on his nose and the cheek pieces so the bit stays in his mouth once you get it in. Make sure you arent pushing the bit against his teeth, etc. Place your finger in the gap between his teeth and 'tickle' his tongue and he will open his mouth.

I know people who put treacle on the bit. This helps the horse realise the but can be nice and they will et rewards. Also a tack shop near me do apple tape which is apple flavour .

Put your arm between their ears with the bridal in your hand and then grab the bit with your other hand and then put your thumb in the side of her mouth now that should open up her mouth and then put the bit in and then put the bridal over her head
