What fun tricks can you guys think of for me to teach my horse.
I won't be teach rearing, bucking and things like that for my horses safety and for mine. :)

Could you do a list, or a list with how to do them or youtube/site links telling me how to do them! Thanks :D

Kisses - only trick I've been able to teach my pony (you ask him for a kiss, providing he's not distracted, and he'll nuzzle your face once with his top lip.

You could teach "wave" - you get them to lift a front leg or wave it in the air either when you point to it or when you wave at them. I used to know a Shetland x that did this.

You could teach them to nod, but don't teach them in a bridle - you don't want to be at a show or halting in the middle of a dressage test and for him to go and do this as it could indicate discomfort. In fact, all tricks should be done in a headcollar so you can separate fun (tricks) from work

Nodding "Yes", or shaking the head, "No" are good beginning tricks, since they don't require a lot of cues for the trick. Then, you can entertain your friends by asking your horse questions, and he will "answer" by nodding or shaking his head on cue. Go to Youtube or google horse tricks.

Other tricks:

Laugh (lifting lip as a laughing gesture), hug (putting head and neck around you), Toro (pawing at the ground), Bow (multi-step training required, but fun), Spanish March/Walk, shake hands, point to your shoe or other item, pull your hat off, and many more.

Keep in mind that teaching tricks takes patience and usually is a step-by-step process, although it bonds the horse and handler much more than simple riding.

Trick training includes reward for a response that might be unexpected, but rewarded and repeated; through a touch of your hand or training whip, and many other methods.

You can google nearly any trick on Youtube and find what you are looking for and that would depend on the trick you are interested in. Google: Horse trick bow, horse trick nod yes, horse trick hug.

You can teach horses to shake "hoofs". It's really funny. Just tap the back of the knee with the rubber handle on a stick-and-string and they'll start pawing the ground. Give them a treat and tell them the name of the command. "Shake" or "Paw" or "Hoof" usually work best. Once they realize that when you tap them there, they have to lift their feet, then once they start pawing, grab their leg. Give them the command again and a treat. After a while they learn the word! You can also teach them to bow. What you do, is pick up one of their front legs. Pull the leg backwards underneath their body. Take a treat and put it at their chest. When they try to get the treat, they'll try to back up, but with their back legs planted. Once their knee on the leg you picked up for them, give them the treat. This one takes a lot of time and patience. And treats! Once they get that they have to bow like that, it teaches them that when you gently kick or nudge the leg back, they will bow.
