1) I have been riding about 6 and 1/2 years.

3) My top favorite horse breeds are Thoroughbred, American Warmblood, Oldenburg, Quarter Horse, and Hanovarian.

5) Yes, I have owned horses for 4 years. Currently, we have a QH, a paint colt (6mos), and his mother, a wonderful TB mare.



6) The QH is Zippy. The paint colt is Donatello and the TB mare is Iris.



7) My favorite thing about horses is the relationship that you gain between the two. I also love how much they teach you about life. They teach patience, dedication, tolerance, listening, and so much more. I would not trade my time with horses for anything.



8) Yes, most of my New Year's resolutions deal with horses. I'm dedicated to training my TB mare more effectively and riding more and being more patient.

I would have to go with North Carolina. I hear the Carolina's are wonderful and the weather I'm sure is nice too. And it's not in a place where there would be a whole bunch of snow or too much heat which helps with the horses I think. I've dreamt of going there and taking the horses, but I don't think it's gonna happen for a while.

My favorite horse breed would either be a Quarter, Thoroughbred, or Arab or a mix of any two of them because They are versatile and beautiful. I'm not to familiar with pony breeds but I have watched a few POA's in a show once and they are adorable and talented! Everything is my favorite thing about horses! Do I have to choose? The freedom of riding, companionship and so much much more! I ride English Hunt seat and when I started riding I started in Western saddle. My most memorable moment so far was the first time falling off or every time I accomplish something new with the horse I ride and he/I does it right! I love everything about horses! Their smell, The way they move, Their intelligence, the companionship, the need to be cared for, the boost in confidence and responsibility and not to mention you can ride them and have so much fun together!! The horse I ride for lessons favorite treat is Apple slices or Good N' Plenty licorice! The horse I ride doesn't like passing new things in the arena lol I like all the colors but I love sorrel and bays also a lover of a true black horse too! Bonus (10 points, best answer!) I'M GOING WITH NC. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL AREA, AND FOR DEVELOPING HORSES, MOUNTAINS ARE THE BEST PLACE FOR THEM TO BE GALLOPING OVER. LOL... YOU GET SOME INCREDIBLY MUSCLED BABIES THAT WAY. ALSO, THE YEAR-ROUND TEMPERATE CLIMATE IS GREAT FOR HORSE AND HUMAN ALIKE.
