Firsst What are you getting your pony for xmas?

Ive got Dallas a stocking with a horse lyx, mini likit (for her boredom breaker), horse quencher, 6 candy canes and a horse santa hat all in a satin stocking ( half price in Tescos, 3.50 hehee deeeaaaallll )

And secondd, has any tryed horse quencher, Its like a mix with oats molasses beet pulp and barley in it that you add to you rhorse water and it makes it taste nicer ( apparently) and if youve tryed it does it work? or dyou know anyone who tryed it, it was quite cheap at the local tackshop and looked fun so i thought id give it a go hehee, mines apple x

I really wanted to get a likit but I didn't have time to get to the tack store. I also wanted to buy a 1/4 sheet. again no time. I'll get those as late christmas presents.

Instead I found some horse treat recipes online and made carrot treats and then come apple/pepermint ones. One of the horses is Cushing's so sugar isn't great for him-he gets the carrot ones. the other horse LOVE peppermint.

I also found this curry comb that retracts. I'm giving that to the cushingoid horse-- itll be good for when his LONG hair starts falling out in the spring.



oooo. im doing the pm barn chores on christmas eve. I'm going to leave candy canes on all the stalls and peppermints in their feed buckets so in the morning they will get a special treat!

Ummmmmmmmmm well I share this account with three people. We all ride. One is my friend's niece who is 14. She got her horse an invite to an exclusive clinic in her area. My two friends I met as the stable I take my horse to for lessons got their horses several things like saddle pads halters and treats. I decided to get my stable a goat to keep the horses entertained and I got it for my horse because it's my neighbor's and she gets crazy excited when she sees it!
