Hello, i was just wondering if anyone has rode at the RDA and know how they take payment for riding? Do they let you pay the day you ride or do you have to pay a few days up front ?
Thanks :-)

I used to ride at an RDA centre (because it was the nearest riding centre to us even though im not disabled) and they let me pay on the day of the riding lesson like any other place.

I volunteer at an RDA centre where all riding is free, always. It runs a lot of charity events and is situated within a livery farm so they do a lot of events to make sure that the riders never have to pay anything for the sessions.

Every RDA will work differently though so sadly I will not know how yours will accept payment, you'll have to contact them directly I expect.

I helped out for one for a few weeks a while ago. Most will take payment upfront and won't expect you to pay early, though I'm sure they'd accomodate it.

Most riding places will take money on the day, though if you're unsure give them a ring. Every RDA will run a bit different.

I have helped and run several RDA groups.

Normally it is for free with the people who go being selected by their schools. People are good in lending their ponies and giving their time.

The best thing you can do is to contact RDA and they will give you the groups in your area and the people you need to contact to find out how they run their group.

riding for the disabled is free, they get money from charities.

for a normal riding lesson, you should be fine to pay on the day.
